Details of money-orders issued by SSO

The Students' Service Office (SSO) of the University of Szeged usually makes a "cumulative" money-order (cheque) from pending assessments of small amounts. This concerns the re-take fees, the course repetition fees and the late fees. You have the following possibilities in ETR system to get informed about the details of a cumulative money-order.

  • Fresh assessments are detailed in the 'Events / Student Tasks' section on the start-up ETR screen for two weeks.
  • After the first two-week period (but even during it), you can find the semestral details of the assessments of small amounts under the item 'HSZI által csekken kivetett díjak részletezése / Details of money-orders issued by SSO' in menu 'Student / Studies / Student Information'.
  • Later changes in the assessments (amendments, cancellation etc.) will not be reflected on the above reports. Their only aim to inform you about the items of the undetailed money-orders you have actually received.
  • Assessment details are available in English but the titles (of courses, subjects, assessments) will be displayed always in their original language. That is, course titles will be in Hungarian when they were announced in Hungarian.
Payments are assessed according to the new University Regulations on Fees and Stipends (RoFS). The Annex 2 of this document contains the schedule of fees. The Hungarian text of the current RoFS can be downloaded from the university website under the name "Hallgatói Juttatási Szabályzat" (English version is not available). — You may claim correction of your data in case of re-take fees and course repetition fees at your Registrars' Office (RO). With a written decision of the RO, you can apply to the SSO for amendment in assessments. In case of late fees, turn to the SSO directly.

The following data are displayed of the reports:
  • The items are summed by terms, even if they were issued on separate money-orders.
  • A re-take fee is assessed when you take the 3rd (or further) exam attempt for the same subject, that is in case of the 2nd (and further) re-take registration. The current fee is HUF 800 / re-take registration. (Cf. item "Ugyanabból a tárgyból tett harmadik és további vizsga" in Annex 2 of the RoFS.)
    • Assessment Type: Re-take [fee]
    • Title of Subject: Usually the original title of the relevant subject element (SE). In case of SE's that can be repeated, the original title of the relevant pattern element is displayed instead.
    • Term: The semester of the 2nd (and further) re-take registration. Actually, the fee will be assessed in the next term.
    • Prev.: Number of exam registrations for the same subject before the semester shown in Term column.
    • Curr.: Number of exam registrations for the same subject in the semester shown in Term column.
    • Regs to Pay: Number of exam registrations to pay for.
    • Sum: The amount of re-take fee for this subject in HUF.
  • A course repetition fee is assessed when you have registered the same unfulfilled subject for the 3rd (or further) time. Note that you actually register courses, but courses are bound (i.e. announced) to curriculum subjects by subject elements (SE) and/or pattern elements (PE). Therefore you can re-register a subject through different courses if they belong to the same SE and/or PE. The course repetition quota is valid for the whole student status independently of training programmes and semesters. The current fee is HUF 800 / credit point. (Cf. item "Tantárgy-újrafelvételi díj (kreditdíj) / kreditenként" in Annex 2 of the RoFS.)
    • Assessment Type: Course repetion [fee]
    • Prg. Code: Code of the relevant training programme of the last re-registration.
    • Last Reg.: Type of the binding between the re-registered course and the relevant subject: 'subject elem[ent]' or 'pattern elem[ent]'.
    • Title: Title of the binding SE or PE (in its original language).
    • Term: The semester when you registered the same subject for the 3nd (and further) time.
    • No of Regs: Number of registration for the same subject (incl. actual one).
    • Credit: Number of credit points to pay for.
    • Sum: The amount of course repetition fee for this subject in HUF.
  • A late fee is assessed when you do not settle your semestral tuition fee within 10 days after due date. The current fee is HUF 5000. (Cf. item "Költségtérítés 10 napot meghaladó, határidőn túli befizetése" in Annex 2 of the RoFS.)
    • Assessment Type: Late fee
    • Orig. Title: Title of the original assessment (tuition fee) in its original language.
    • Orig. Sum: Sum of the original assessment.
    • Due Date: Due date of the original assessment.
    • Pay Date: The date when the original assessment was settled. Or 'not paid' if it is still not settled.
    • Late Days: The number of days after Due Date until Pay Date (or the present date if not settled)
    • Sum: The amount of late fee for the original assessment in HUF.
